Here is our new mission statement and core values!

To evangelize, disciple, and demonstrate the gospel in word and deed to the people of the Fairhill community and beyond.

Our core values:

1. We realize the Word of God as God's truth for our lives and all people. This is our motivation for ministry.
2. We value evangelism of school age youth through game and story hour, summer reading program, Youth Programs, Bible Studies in prisons, and personal contacts.
3. We value discipleship through personal and small group interactions.
4. We value demonstrating the gospel by word and deed through Bible studies, devotionals, and prayer times. We do this in deed through emergency food, the benefit bank, and social service information.
5. We value the Fairhill community by empowering indigenous leadership by trying to provide specific educational opportunities. We do this by training in anti-racism for staff and board members and avoiding practices that would fragment families.
6. We value our relationship with Second Mennonite Church. We will coordinate and cooperate with them and assist each other as much as possible and refer Crossroads Community Center clients to Second Mennonite Church.
